Problem Description:

A client reaches us out with 2.5" HDD 26 bays. Server's service is down and unable to access their files and document. It just happened out of a sudden without any pre-warning. Due to large amount of hard drive, on-site assessment was arranged to identify the root cause failure of this server. We found out that multiple server and RAID system was used by their server. By analyse the RAID structure and capacity , we manage to discover several issues that cause this server inaccessible. 

Action to be taken:

Our team collected all server drives from client with proper handling to prevent from further damage of its storage media. Our Data Recovery Specialist had taken out all the hard disk, label with a number to avoid misplacing the order of RAID hard disk. It is related to both software and hardware error. During abstracting data from faulty Server drive, we cloned all drive and in the recovery process and maintain the condition of original drive.

After clone is done. Our data recovery specialist plugs all the cloned hard disks to storage server, rebuild entire RAID structure.
