Case description:

A customer contacted us to recover data from an iPhoneXS (512GB). She has been using the iPhone XS for many years and the memory is quite full. The phone is getting slower and starts glitching, she suspects it is the battery issue because the battery was aging and not optimized. Eventually, the iPhone keeps showing the Apple logo.  She went to a few places to check but they mentioned the data is irrecoverable and the iPhone must be reset. Of course, she tried to force restart, update via iTunes and all alternative solutions that she found online, but the iPhone is still frozen on the Apple logo. She has a lot of photos and videos on the phone that needs to be recovered.

Action (Solution):

EHDR’s data recovery specialist proceeds to check the iPhone, dissembled the phone for a diagnostic, and confirm that the hardware is working, no short circuit was found. It is confirmed that the issue is related to a memory issue, memory overload. Data recovery will be possible. After the confirmation, we proceed with the recovery, the recovery time usually is a few days depending on the amount of the data. We managed to recover the data from the iPhone and stored the recovered data on a new external hard drive for her.

She was very happy that all data on the phone were recovered, and the iPhone was successfully restored and reusable.
