Problem Description:

We had received a SanDisk Thumb Drive from a student.

According to customer description, this thumb drive was accidentally unplugged, and now it cannot be detected by his laptop, he also uses his friends’ laptop but failed.

He wants to recover his data back as the data inside relate to his semester project.

Action to be taken:

When Ever Higher Data Recovery Specialist first receives this thumb drive, he plugs into a computer, tries to use our recovery tools to read chip id, but was failed that means the chipset inside is spoiled, so require monolithic data recovery.

Before our data recovery specialist processes, he needs to use tool read the chipset controller number, the purpose is to find out the PIN Scheme, so that he can start using soldering tool to solder the wire to the pin.

After finish soldering, our data recovery specialist connects the thumber drive to our data recovery tools. This time the tool was able to read out the chip id and from there our data recovery specialist work on the recovery process and manage to find out most of the data.

Outcome:

We manage to recover 99% data back, and the customer was very satisfied with our service. We will glad that we can help recover customer data back.
