Problem Description:

Recently, we had received a Western Digital My Cloud Minor from a customer.

This is a NAS which build with RAID 1 Mirroring. According to customer description. That day morning when he uploads his work to NAS, system prompt one of the hard disks was failed. So, he tried to rebuild the configuration, after which he switches off and on the device, both hard disks fail to start up this time. He begins to as the NAS contains all his work and personal stuff. He immediately searches the data recovery service from Google and found us.

Action to be taken:

When Ever Higher Data Recovery sales team hand over the NAS to Specialist, he dissembles the NAS and took out two HDD. Plugs into the data recovery software and found out the root cause is due to Raid structure failure.

Our specialist using the software to calculate and rebuild the entire raid. After that transfer the data over to a new backup disk.

Outcome:

Finally, 99.9% of the data had successfully recovered. And our customer was glad that we can help him recover the data back.
