There is a recent flaw we have discovered when reformatting the latest batch of Dell laptops, they do not have CD roms and sometimes when you reformat the laptop, it sometimes do not have the driver to detach your external usb hard drive or thumbdrive.
With no internet drivers, you are unable access the internet and download the drivers from the website too.
So basically you are stuck with a formatted laptop with no drivers, no data, unable to access to the internet, or even detach any external hard drive.
So what can you do? You can partition the laptop, create a 10 GB D drive, and copy all your drivers into the D drive. All these needs to be done BEFORE YOU REFORMAT the laptop.
What if you have already reformatted the laptop?
You can remove the laptop’s hard drive and use an external mounting dock and connect it to another PC or laptop. (If you do not know how to remove your hard drive, you find such information on youtube, type your laptop’s model together with “remove HDD”)

Once you connected the hard drive into another PC, on the PC, click on windows, right click on Computer, and click Manage.
Supposing your hard drive is F, right click on it, select Shrink Volume.
Shrink the drive by 10 GB.
Right click on the Unallocated area and create a 10 GB partition.
Now you can copy all the drivers into partition.
