Recently our Zimbra users have been receiving a lot of email spam. One of those warns the user about the email quota being full and needs to be upgraded. The email looks something like this.
Do Not Be Fooled!
If you click on any of the links it will link you to a phishing website or a Trojan website. What is worst if one of your local users are infected and send this email to your group mail, there is little to no way to block it and there is a risk that another user will click on the link and your email system will be compromised again.
Beware of this spam!
If your email quota is at your limit, the email system will email you an email an email warning. The real quota warning should look something like this:
There is no link to or asking you to upgrade your mailbox quota. If you are unsure please ask your IT admin about this matter.
Last tip: please remember to update your antivirus on your computer, and change your password just in case.
